COVID-19 Delivery

During this time of uncertainty and as we are seeing a huge increase in the volume of orders placed on the website, as such, we are unable to cancel or amend delivery times on any orders once they have been confirmed. This is to protect our local independent farmers & butchers, who are currently working around the clock to deliver fresh meat to all our customers – as we rear and then cut fresh to order.

Please bear with our customer care team who are working incredibly hard to get through all enquiries. Please allow 48 hours for the team to get back to you.

DPD offer contact-free delivery – you can manage your delivery through their App – which includes being able to detail safe places to leave parcels and order tracking.

 

Brexit Implications

Prior to the Brexit agreement, we were shipping to customers within Europe quite regularly, however, we are no longer able to export fresh meat as easily. As a result, we have had to pause our exports to Customers in the EU or where parcels pass through the EU, this unfortunately currently includes Northern Ireland and The Channel Islands.

All of our deliveries to you are carbon neutral.

The environment and climate change are at the forefront of our corporate responsibilities, so not only are we able to bring you the most efficient and convenient service available by opting for DPD, we’re supporting a courier committed to delivering every parcel carbon neutral for every customer, at no extra cost.

DPD’s ‘Driving Change’ is helping to reduce emissions year on year by investing in hundreds of EV vehicles to decarbonise the DPD fleet, alongside Smart Urban Delivery and Innovative Entrepreneurship strategies to reduce ‘miles per parcel’. To offset remaining emissions, DPD finance renewable and cleaner energy production projects by purchasing carbon credits whilst respecting the most rigorous international standards.

Delivery Charges

Mainland UK

We deliver to every postcode in the UK Monday to Sunday (excluding 2-day postcodes).
For orders under £60.00, we charge a standard delivery fee of £5.95 (weekends £7.95).

For all STANDARD orders totalling £60.00 or over, after any discounts or codes applied, we offer Free Standard Weekday Delivery (Saturday supplement £3.95).

Please note that certain dates will be exempt from our Free Delivery Offer. Such as around the Christmas peak period.

 
Northern Scotland

We charge £14.45 for delivery (Saturday £15.95) to areas of Northern Scotland – the Highlands and Islands.

We will confirm when delivery can be made to your address as typically it takes 2-3 days.

 
Northern Ireland, Isle Of Man & Isle Of Scilly

Please note we are currently unable to deliver to Northern Ireland and The Channel Islands due to Brexit implications.

We charge £17.95 for delivery (£20.95) to areas of Northern Ireland, Isle Of Man & Isle Of Scilly.

We will confirm when delivery can be made to your address as typically it takes 2-3 days.

 
Europe & Further Afield

Currently, we only deliver to UK territories.

For free standard weekday delivery over £60, the value of the transaction must total £60 after any discounts or promotional codes are applied. Certain delivery areas will incur an additional delivery cost to those detailed in the delivery planner and are exempt from the free delivery option due to the time taken to deliver to these areas. These delivery areas include Northern Scotland – the Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly, Europe and further afield. This offer excludes premium delivery and next day delivery.

 

Scheduling Your Delivery

We appreciate that you will want to know when your order will arrive.

You don’t need to be at home when we deliver. You can use the DPD app to leave special instructions for the driver if you’re not going to be in.

From time-to-time deliveries may take an additional day due to seasonal variations or volume. If you are ordering for a gift or a dinner party, we advise to always allow an extra 24 hours.

Fresh produce will arrive in a special Stay-Chilled insulated box, which means an unopened consignment is ‘chill test safe’ for up to 72 hours.

All meat products must be refrigerated as soon as you open your consignment.

All orders are delivered by our logistics partner, DPD.

Once you input your delivery address and postcode, the exact delivery charge for the day you specify will be calculated and added to your bill (if applicable).

 

Planning For The Use-By Date

All our meat is fresh so it can be frozen (note: each item has the use-by date printed on the packaging when it arrives).
