Ingredients
- 4 medium onions, peeled 2 layers down and sliced
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp fresh or dried sage, finely chopped
- 350 ml apple juice
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Heat the oil and add the onions over high heat for 2-3 minutes to get some colour
- Turn down the heat, add the sage and juice and cook down until you have a thick stew
- Season well with salt and pepper
