- 8 thin slices pumpernickel or similar
- 250 g thinly sliced smoked salmon
- 1 pinch salted butter
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 50 g mock caviar
- lemon wedges
- Lightly butter the bread on one side.
- Carefully lay over the salmon evenly and perfectly, and press down.
- Top with caviar and a dusting of ground pepper.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
